Lead and let lead

Being a solopreneur can make us lose connection to other people’s super skills.

We are used to dealing with every single aspect of our business and projects. Run our own strategy meetings, structure our creative sessions, make sales. Just because we do it at the beginning doesn’t mean we are the experts.

At some point, if our ventures take off, we have to delegate. Letting someone else have the responsibility of a specific part of the biz. That partner will know and be better than us in many areas that you just run, and that’s the goal.

We know that! It is the reason we looked for help in the first place. When we see someone else taking over a task we used to do, it will feel weird. The right kind of weird, a mix of what I suppose parents think the first day of school of their kids, and a relief of the same event.
